JOSHUA CLARKWEISS

  • Meet Joshua Clarkweiss, the creative force and owner of FCFP. With a diverse background encompassing forestry, logging, sawmilling, furniture design, and manufacturing, Joshua is a person of renaissance within woodcraft.

    Bearing the legacy of renowned architects and designers as his parents, Joshua was nurtured in the art of creating spaces that not only captivate aesthetically but also nurture the human soul. Sustainability is not just a concept but a way of life for Joshua. He holds an Environmental Studies degree from DePaul University, lives in a sustainable community in Northeast Missouri, and cares for a 150-acre collective farm with his family.

    Beyond the company, Joshua's heart beats for his family and the earth, shaping a life where principles and passion converge. As the driving force behind Full Circle Forest Products, he envisions a future where beauty and sustainability intertwine seamlessly, setting the standard for this type of care within the industry. LENORE WEISS

  • Lenore Weiss, AIA, NCARB, LEED-AP

    “I believe architecture should celebrate the art of living. To make this possible, an architect must be inquisitive and a perpetual learner, so she has the benefit of many tools—old and new—to use on her client’s behalf.”

    Lenore graduated with an Architectural Degree from the University of Illinois at Champaign, with studies in interior design and psychology. As a student, she was drawn to beauty that had a purpose and improved people’s lives.

    Lenore studied abroad at the Ecole d’Architecture de Versailles, France. “This helped form my creative sensibilities,” she explains. “I can appreciate historical approaches to architecture, evaluate state-of-the-art ideas from multi-disciplinary and international sources, and combine these to create environments that elevate my clients’ lifestyles.”

    After working at well-established Chicago architecture firms and accumulating a broad background in varied project types, she co-founded Full Circle Architects, an award-winning architecture and design firm. Concurrently, she raised two (terrific!) children, learning firsthand how homes and offices need to evolve with the changing needs of the people in them.

    Because of her passion for the symbiotic relationship between people and their environments, Lenore became a national speaker, teacher and design consultant.

    She has published articles in architecture and design journals, and has been quoted in newspapers and magazines. In 2003, she co-authored the book Feng Shui: Principles for Building and Remodeling, demonstrating how this time-honored belief system has provided a framework for shaping meaningful built environments.

    Her recent interest in ANFA (the Academy for Neuroscience and Architecture) has furthered her quest to take a systematic, empirical approach to what she’s known anecdotally and intuitively about satisfying spaces. Lenore is also LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) accredited, instinctively seeking sustainable solutions as an integral consideration of each project.

    Lenore later returned to the Ecole d’Architecture de Versailles as a visiting instructor, building relationships with colleagues in Europe. These alliances have allowed her to bring fresh, cutting-edge designs and materials to her clients in the U.S. in distinctive and cost-effective ways. She founded Lenore Weiss Studios with the purpose of creating unique, artful solutions for high-quality residential and commercial architectural design.

JOSEPH BLACK

  • Joseph has been with Full Circle Forest Products from the very beginning. He has decades of experience as a mechanic, and we have frequently leaned on him for setting up and maintaining equipment. His kind and generous attitude, and keen attention to detail make him a huge asset to the shop. Joseph is a graduate of University of Missouri- St. Louis.

NIKKI RIZZO

  • Nikki is a builder, maker, and designer hailing from the suburbs of Chicago. Interested in all things related to dwellings. Started their career making tables, quickly moved into designing home decor from the waste left around the shop. They love to create new pieces out of “scrap,” turning nothing into something is what inspires them most.

Mark Mazzioti

  • Mark is a designer, builder, and teacher. He comes to FCFP with 20 years of experience in natural building, working with straw bales, clay, stone, and wood. He holds a graduate degree in design from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn.

Graham Rogers

  • Graham grew up in the Bay Area of California and was introduced to carpentry at a young age. His previous career in archaeology sparked a fascination with the natural materials and techniques that humans have engaged with for thousands of years. He has lived in Missouri since 2018, and has spent that time honing his skills in natural building, cabinetmaking, timber framing, and traditional woodworking.

Ronnie Trujillo

Joshua is a young family man in Missouri where he has a certified sustainable forest. They have a large inventory of slabs and makes custom pieces. I told him the dimensions I wanted, that I wanted a live edge, and was open to the species of tree. Through a video conference, Joshua walked me around his warehouse and showed me slabs. He was patient and easy to work with. As a guy who loves trees and the beauty of wood grain, Joshua is very much an artist and generously allowed me to be a part of the design process. He was an excellent communicator and sent update photos throughout. The table is solid and reinforced. It’s simply gorgeous. Now, we have a custom heirloom table we will treasure forever and pass down to generations.
