Our sawmill upcycles logs from Tree services and Municipalities from within 80 miles of our facilities- utilizing logs that would have been thrown in a landfill!
We also collaborate with our local woodland stewards to harvest following their Forest Management Plans- this lumber is American Tree Farm Certified.
We then saw the logs and stack for air-drying before heading to our iDRY Vacuum kiln. The wood is kiln dried to 6-9% moisture content and stored in a humidity controlled warehouse.
We grade lumber to National Hardwood Lumber Association (NHLA) standards to insure our customers can choose between clear wood or character wood.
We process our slabs and lumber into functional art- furniture and wood products that are heirloom quality and highlight the uniqueness and character in each piece of wood.
